Art
Camilo is looking for nice objects every day.

Camilo is looking for nice objects every day. He prefers almost everything made of crystal, but Makkumer pottery, vases and statues are also regularly taken home. Part of this can be found in the 17th century cellar, which was found under the living room floor during our renovation. The cellar has been completely restored and is used as a kind of display case in the middle of the living room and is covered with glass.

Books also belong in this house. The previous owner had ten thousand books at home. Unfortunately, those books were no longer available when we bought the house. But Camilo is already well on its way to getting so many as well, with the result that we already have a large collection.

All these objects enrich our home and regularly also the dinner table. However, everyone is ready for something new from time to time, which is why various items are also offered for sale. We therefore cordially invite you to drop by, preferably by appointment, but you are of course welcome to ring the doorbell if you think we are at home! Moreover, the door is often literally and figuratively open with us and we sit on the sidewalk in our beanbags when the weather is nice.

In addition, a number of good museums are literally around the corner from us, the Frans Hals museum 210 meters away, with the ABC Architecture Center Haarlem and the Haarlem museum next to it. And the oldest museum in the Netherlands, the Teylers Museum, is about 500 meters away.

In short, there is plenty to do in Haarlem for art lovers, come and have a look. And if you have walked so much already, come in for a massage for the sore muscles…!
