Experience immediate relief and deep relaxation of body and mind with our Trigger Point, Cupping and Deep Tissue massage.

Massage, good for everyone
Give your body a regular massage 'maintenance', from a sports massage to a relaxation massage. Especially if you suffer from stress, headaches, back pain or pain elsewhere in the body such as in the shoulder, legs or arms, a massage will help you feel better.
The benefits of massages
The skin is the largest organ of the body with connective tissue directly underneath, also called fascia. Massage improves blood circulation, resulting in a better supply of nutrients and removal of waste products, among other things, through the lymphatic system.
The muscles often contain "knots", these are places of poor blood circulation, also called trigger points. During the massage, these “knots” are gently loosened. After the massage, muscle tension will be reduced or disappeared and you will feel a lot more flexible and lighter in your body.
In addition, every person has a certain need for skin contact, also known as skin hunger. Massage is a safe way to satisfy skin hunger. This helps to reduce muscle tension and any stress in the body.
Physical benefits of massages
A massage is a kind of “MOT maintenance” of the body.
During the massage, tension spots are felt, sensitive spots that you often do not realize are present in your body. This can make you feel less energetic or even tired.
But massaging has a positive effect on the entire body, the muscles relax, your lymphatic system functions better and the hormone balance also adjusts, giving you a more pleasant and lighter feeling throughout the body.
Massage techniques
Trigger point massage
What are trigger points?
What are trigger points Simply put, a trigger point is a place in a muscle where the fibers are cramped. If you press this point, or the trigger point, you will feel pain or a tingling sensation that can be both local and distracted. Referred pain is common at trigger points and this cramping condition in the muscle has consequences in other parts of the body. This is because:
- Trigger points shorten the muscle, putting more tension on the muscle itself and the adjacent joints, nerves and blood vessels.
- Trigger points shorten the muscle, putting more tension on the muscle itself and the adjacent joints, nerves and blood vessels.
Many (para)medics do not know the importance of trigger points. If you want to recognize and deactivate the complaints that these myofascial trigger points can cause, you need good training.
In which muscles do you often find trigger points?
Trigger points can arise in muscles due to various factors. It often has to do with overload due to, for example, incorrect posture, repetitive movements, stress and heavy exertion. But also due to underload, too little or too much physical activity and couch surfing.
They can also be the result of trauma, falls, shocks, collisions and medical interventions.
The resulting trigger points almost always also play a role in more 'chronic' conditions such as RSI/CANS, migraine and whiplash.
If you have a lot of trigger points, this is called myofascial pain syndrome (MPS) and is often mistaken for fibromyalgia.
What complaints do trigger points cause?
The complaints caused by trigger points are extremely diverse. Some complaints are very clear, because they cause pain in one place in the body. Other complaints are more vague and diffuse. For example, they occur in 'random places' in the body and a clear cause or specific point where the pain comes from cannot be identified. Whether the complaints are direct or indirect, they can be divided into these three types of symptoms:
- Sensory symptoms: local tenderness, referred pain at a short distance, change in sensation such as numbness on the skin or itching, pressure pain.
- Motor symptoms: impaired motor function, reduced coordination, muscle weakness, muscle stiffness, limited range of motion.
- Autonomic-vegetative symptoms: discoloration or temperature difference of the skin around the trigger point, dizziness, tinnitus, sleep problems, chronic pain.
Trigger points can be active and latent. If a trigger point is active, the symptoms are recognizable, whether they cause local or referred pain. If a trigger point is latent, there is mainly stiffness and the complaint is not recognized.
See also the Video at the bottom of the homepage.
“So if you have a complaint but no one has ever thoroughly examined your muscles
trigger points, then that could easily be the cause of complaints that do not want to go away."
Fascia Massage / Connective Tissue Massage
What is connective tissue?
The connective tissue/fascia is located throughout your entire body, around your muscles and organs and forms a whole. When it is stiff and tight it is like “chewing gum” but it should be flexible like “saliva”.
If the connective tissue is tight and adherent, this causes pain/myofascial pain. This can vary from a heavy, aching or oppressive feeling to a numb or tingling feeling, but can also be intense and stabbing. This is because the connective tissue does not stretch properly with the muscles and skin during movement.
Research has shown that the fascia can relax and contract independently, just like a muscle. According to these insights, the myofascia plays an important role in the mobility and stability of joints. As a result of physical trauma, poor posture or psychological stress, this connective tissue can stiffen locally, disrupting its natural buffering effect. Myofascial release aims to relax this myofascia and return its normal structure using various techniques.
Injuries, stress, incorrect movements, incorrect posture, operations, etc. can cause damage, causing the tissues to no longer move smoothly past each other and to stick together, causing sticky connective tissue.
How do you treat connective tissue?
Myofascial release is erop gericht om met behulp van verschillende technieken deze myofascia te laten ontspannen en zijn normale structuur terug te brengen.
By massaging the subcutaneous connective tissue, this ensures better blood circulation in the muscles and better functioning of the lymphatic system.
This is done, among other things, through ‘Cupping’ massage, a form of massage therapy that uses rubbery round cups to create suction on the skin. This suction helps to improve blood circulation and loosen tense muscles, resulting in reduced pain. With the cups, only stroking movements are made without stopping in one place, this prevents bruising. Cupping is used together with other massage techniques.
When discussing the physical complaints, we look at where connective tissue massage techniques can be applied. Consider, among other things, “Frozen” shoulders / tight shoulders, but also, for example, the attachments of the thigh muscles!
Massage gun
Theragun is one of the best-known and most popular brands among (professional) massage guns. The TheraGun G4PRO is the latest generation of PRO models in the field of neuromuscular percussive therapy.
The device is intended for the treatment of various muscle groups in the body. A massage with the TheraGun G4PRO ensures that muscles in the body are activated and pain is relieved.
The massage gun can be used as an additional massage tool to loosen tight muscles. This includes the back muscles, buttocks and legs.
With each massage we look at which massage head is best to use, from a pointed one to 5 cm wide, soft or harder. In addition, we look at where and with how many strokes per minute the massage takes place; this can range from 1750 to 2400 strokes per minute. During use, you can read what pressure is being used, in other words how intensively the massage gun is being used.
You always decide whether or not we use the massage gun and the pressure.
Types of massages
Sportmassage en Deep Tissue Massage
A sports massage and deep tissue massage are powerful massages that are aimed at the client's muscle complaint. The deeper muscle and connective tissue layers are treated.
It is important that your wishes and any pain complaints are discussed before the start of the massage. The massage will therefore always be tailored to you to achieve maximum results. This includes muscle testing before and after the massage treatment.
Sports massage and deep tissue massage help you with back pain, leg & arm complaints, such as knee pain, a “frozen” shoulder and tennis elbow. The massage removes existing blockages and connective tissue adhesions using trigger points and fascia techniques.
Swedish Massage
A Swedish massage is the basis of many everyday massages.
With long, gentle stroking hand movements and “kneading” of the muscles, you can: relax and this ensures better blood circulation.
This massage technique is often used in combination with other massage techniques.
Back – shoulder – neck and arm massage
Back problems can arise suddenly, such as after a fall, an accident or when a wrong movement is made. In addition, persistent incorrect posture while sitting, standing, lifting or lying can cause lower back problems. Repetitive actions such as mouse clicking can cause wrist pain and adhesions in the upper arm
Through muscle testing we can find out which muscles react weakly in the sensitive area.
So if you have a headache, back pain or problems with the shoulder, neck and arms, such as a “frozen” shoulder or tennis elbow, then a massage is very suitable to massage away existing blockages and connective tissue adhesions using trigger point and fascia techniques.
Foot and leg massage
The feet are the foundation of the body…! For example, have you had whiplash or a sprained ankle or do you have persistently painful soles of your feet? We will work with trigger point and fascia techniques, including the calves and upper legs.
The position of the feet, inward or outward, flat or hollow, is also taken into account in the treatment.
Or perhaps you suffer from warm and sensitive shins after a short walk, then you may be suffering from loge syndrome. The main complaint of lodge syndrome is severe stabbing or cramping pain in the affected body part. If you catch it in time, a fascia massage may help you.
Hotstone massage
Hot stone massage is a massage technique with heated stones, as the name suggests.
The heated stones can be placed on the body, with a towel between them.
Stroking with the heated stones gives a very beneficial and relaxing feeling, allowing tight muscles to relax. The heat penetrates deep into the muscles.
Thai massage
Thai massage is a wonderful massage, which can be experienced as a dance with the body, involving the muscles a lot with the help of, among other things, the legs of the masseur.
The massage is often experienced as firm. The Thai technique can be easily combined with other types of massages.
The Frisian "Hammam" massage!
During a Hammam cleansing ritual, the skin is scrubbed and a soap massage takes place to open the pores.
The soap foam of Turkish olive soap is obtained in a traditional way by alternately passing the soap bag 'Torba' through warm water and hitting it through the air. The body is then covered with a layer of foam after which the body is wonderfully massaged. This has a positive effect on health; blood circulation is promoted and the airways open.

Choosing the right massage
Camer37 has divided the massages into different modules, back and shoulder, legs and feet and general, with sessions from 45 minutes to 150 minutes (2,5 hours). Experience shows that on average it takes us an hour to massage a back. The legs also take about an hour.
Where physiotherapists and chiropractors often do not have enough time, we continue and treat a larger part of the body.
Before the massage, we discuss possible pain points and tensions and how we can treat them. This includes using the online Pijngids.nl (https://www.pijngids.nl/) and the Essential Anatomy app, which is an app used to show the function of the muscles.
The massage will therefore always be tailored to you in terms of the technique you choose, for example from a light relaxation massage to a deep tissue sports massage with attention to fascia, connective tissue and trigger points.

Yes, massages can be effective in managing chronic pain conditions such as back pain, neck pain and arthritis. By targeting specific muscle groups and promoting relaxation, massages can relieve pain and improve quality of life.
Although massages are generally safe for most people, there are some risks to be aware of, such as bruising, pain, and allergic reactions to massage oils or lotions. It is important to discuss any health concerns, such as high or low blood pressure or other conditions, with your massage therapist before starting your session.
The frequency of massages depends on individual needs and goals. Some people may benefit from weekly sessions, while others find monthly or bimonthly massages sufficient. Listen to your body and consult your massage therapist to determine the optimal frequency for you.
During a massage, you will usually undress to your comfort level and lie under a sheet or towel on the massage table. Your massage therapist will ensure your privacy and expose only the area being worked on.
